FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

This depends entirely on each individual session!!
The longer the session, the more photos you can expect to get back!
For an hour to 2 hour session, you can expect 200+ photos minimum
For weddings, elopements, & events, depending on how many hours of coverage you are getting, you can expect around 100-200+ photos per hour!
*please keep in mind that this is a rough estimate, and under certain circumstances, these expectations may not be met*

What’s the best time of day to take outdoor pictures?

The best lighting for outdoors is usually within an hour before sunset, or super early in the morning!
Shooting before and after sunset gives us the chance to catch golden hour and sometimes a colorful sunset.
I love to shoot during sunset and blue hour, so the sunlight isn't too harsh! So I will always push for shooting during that time, usually between 5-8pm.
However, we can make any time of day work, if those times don't work for you! I have extensive experience in all kinds of lighting, so if we have to work with harsh sunlight, it's no problem!

Do you offer payment plans for larger sessions/weddings?

I do not offer payment plans for after the day of your session. However, my booking process splits up your total payment to make it easier for you, especially for weddings.
I require a non-refundable deposit upon booking. 20% for weddings, and 25% for all other sessions. Then the remaining balance is split up to be paid in increments before the day of your session or wedding. So its not all due at one time!
But the final payment is always due before or on your session date, and any payments made late are subject to a late fee.

Can you travel to us?

Absolutely! I market myself as a travel photographer. I love traveling to you and I can meet you anywhere in the world. Just make sure to put your location in your inquiry, so I can get you an accurate quote that includes travel fees.

How should we dress for our session?

This is entirely unique to you! I want you to wear something that you feel comfortable in, and that is true to your personality!
I will provide inspiration for outfits depending on the session if desired. These are the things i've found look best on camera and in most settings;
more neutral colors, coordinating but not matching colors, and something that you can move around well in is always best!
Beige, tan, white, cream colors, blacks, dark browns, light blues, earthy green tones, etc.! All of these colors go especially well in most outdoor settings!
When in doubt, wear your favorite outfit, and try to stay away from super bright or neon colors, unless you really love them!

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Of course!! Most people don't!! Even if you think you feel comfortable in front of a camera, you'll probably still feel nervous once we start shooting! It's totally normal, and it's my job to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera so that you will feel confident!
I try to avoid boring, still poses that can feel awkward! I will always incorporate movement and fun prompts that will make you laugh and feel natural in front of the camera!

Can we bring our fur baby to our session?

Yessss!!!! Please!! I am a huge animal lover, and I love being able to capture your fur baby as part of your family! Because they are! It also creates such a fun and carefree environment to have them there. So yes! Please bring them! Just make sure to let me know before hand that you would like to have them there :)
